Hi. I’m Mike.
I am a product design leader with extensive experience across many industries. Using design thinking processes and tools, I deliver experiences that connect with people's desires. I create customer value by partnering across disciplines from Engineering and Product Management to Quality, Support, Research, and Content Strategy.
I have experience leading design at entrepreneurial startups and inside Fortune 500 companies. I've been an 'army of one', a member of 100-person design organization, and grown design organizations by recruiting product designers, user researchers, visual designers, and 3d technical artists.
When I'm not working, I love salsa dancing, snowboarding in Lake Tahoe, and watching movies from silent films to modern masterpieces.
My skills include product design, experience design, design strategy, design thinking, wireframes, prototypes, design operations, and design systems with tools such as Sketch, Abstract, InVision, Framer X, Adobe XD, Unity, Principle, UXPin, Figma Affinity Photo, and Affinity Designer.

Reimagined and redesigned the Display AR mobile app utilizing application mapping, user flow analysis, persona creation, information architecture, and lo-fi & hi-fi mockups and prototypes.

Leveraging ideas from other domains, 3d interactive visualizations were applied to the civil engineering challenges of site planning, terrain shaping, and grading.
