Windows Control Panel for JavaSE

Description:

The original Windows Control Panel for Java SE was focused at developers and system administrators rather than providing a balanced solution for both consumers and the technically inclined.

I created an interactive prototype as a vision of a Java Control Panel that would be consumer-friendly and follow newer design standards for Windows XP. The Control Panel’s default view was the "Category View" providing quick access to common actions and conforming to the Windows XP style. In legacy mode, the same functionality is exposed in a hierarchical "Menu View".
