3d Research & Demos

Description:

The vision and promise of zSpace was conveyed to current and prospective investors through demos. The demos showcased the unique combination of zSpace's stereoscopic display, head tracking, and 6DOF interaction. The demos designed during my time as Design Lead lead to >$60M in investements.

As the Design Lead, these demos were also a great source of product feedback. Important data was gathered and incorporated regarding:

• head tracking, the virtual stylus, and grabbing and inspecting objects
• inspecting objects with the virtual camera
• teleportation to a new scene and a transparency slider
• measurement metadata on an object
• creating a 3d curve for use as a camera path
